Ok, ok

I may have blown things out of proportion JUUUUST a little.  Here’s why:

1.  I found my iPod!  It was…in my coat pocket………I’d been wearing my fleece jacket for a while b/c the weather here is bipolar and one day it got real cold, so I wore my winter coat, put the iPod in there, and then hung the coat up in the coat closet when it went back to being warm-ish.  Completely forgot about it until Thurs. morning!

2.  I forgot to mention that after I spilled my coffee EVERYWHERE I went back up to McDonald’s and they gave me a free one.  :D

3.  Roommate issues…whatever.  She’ll get over it.  If she’s really my best friend she won’t let something as stupid as messiness ruin our friendship.  I can also do my part to clean more.

4.  Stuff at school will be ok.  I have my art teacher, my gym teacher, and my mentor who are all pretty awesome people willing to help as long as I ask for it.  My art teacher also told me my principal thinks I’m doing a “fantastic job,” so that kinda makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

5.  Choral Union concert’s over, so now I won’t have anything to do Thursday nights, meaning I won’t have to Hulu Parks and Rec anymore!  And also I can get more done for school and possibly make one of the required PTA meetings.

6.  After Thanksgiving break I plan on getting a gym membership to the YMCA; there’s like 3 of them in town which is pretty cool.

7.  I have an amazing family and friends.  Let me just preface with the fact that my family lives in St. Louis and I currently reside in Jefferson City.  Both parents took off work yesterday and my sister took off school to come see my choir concert Thurs. and then stayed the night.  Friday morning my mom took me to my appointment to get my wisdom teeth taken out and then stayed with me until about 5/6pm.  While they were there, my dad fixed my brake light that was out, and called someone about coming to fix our heat b/c it was broken.  About half an hour before they left, my best friend who lives in KC came to stay w/me this weekend, volunteering to take care of me if needed.  I ALSO got a text from my mentor Friday morning wishing me luck and offering extra ice packs if I needed any.  She also told me not to hesitate to text/call her if I needed a “mom,” which is so sweet, and actually ironic b/c her name is Cindy and so is my mom’s.

8.  So my life is actually pretty good and I don’t need to be so dramatic or let little things upset me.
