Often I ramble aimlessly but every once in a while the stars align and I have a brilliant moment. Sarcasm and satire is the way I roll; throw in a bit of uninhibited awe and you've got your basic artsy nature freak grammar geek. And sometimes I'm a musical genius. But I don't label.

There’s not a lot of crossover in the US with other languages. I think that’s a real shame because we miss out on a lot of great music. Although, every once and awhile a song is infectious enough that it makes its way onto our radar.
A few weeks ago, the British sensation Mika (of “Grace Kelly” fame), released this song in Europe along with a bizarre and yet adorable music video. I’m really loving how lyrically talented he is in multiple languages.
Mika is coming out with a new album in 2012 called The Origin of Love, which will be in English but will also feature some bonus tracks in French.
He’s also fluent in Spanish - who knew?

I freaking love Mika; he just seems so fun! All of his music videos that I’ve seen thus far are incredible. I’m not sure I really “get” most of them, but I do think he’s talented and extremely creative. Plus, how can you not love that adorable curly hair?
